Alarms ring not from any one State, but from the entire Southern region.
Reality is that India is a federation. It is pluralistic society.
And a single language norm is great injustice, to other members of the federation.
India is not a singular country.
It comprises of many racial groups with many families of languages.
That is why we call it the Indian sub-continent.
And we cannot single out one language, as our official language.
Our Federal anthem, 'Jana gana mana' and the popular 'Wande Mataram' are not Hindi songs.
To thrust Hindi on non-hindi domains will create permanent damage, as pointed by Mr. P. Thomas from Orissa and Mr. Subburayan.
This is not just about the DMK. It is about the entire.
