Tamilnadu forest department has taken up the challenge to rewild a male tiger cub.
The 16 month old cub was shifted on June 5th, to a 10, 000 sq. ft. enlosure to monitor its hunting skills and sharpen its natural predatory instincts. It has to record 50 kills to be declared fit for the wild.
So far, it has 6 kills under its belt and has graduated from preying on rabbits, to piglets.
